Craig Elkins joined the squad at the start of the season but left half way through, Bobby Mills and Michael Crocombe joined at Christmas.

This season has been very frustrating, a Jekyll and Hyde start getting beaten by nine two weeks on the trot and then the next week beating Benfleet (who will finish second) by six all down to player’s attitudes and ego’s, then from mid December to beginning of march, with a break for the bad weather, went on a run of seven games unbeaten including a win against the top team Chalvedon Boys. The last part of the season has been like most other seasons boys missing through injuries, holidays, illness and other commitments. All the boys that have played over the latter part have been fully committed and have been unlucky not to win games in which the team has either been a bare eleven or even just ten.

Thank you to Kevin for his help, thank you to the dads who ran the line. I would also like to thank the parents, grandparents, families and friends for there support.

As of 15th April 2006

Adam Wilson and Ryan Wennington have joined the squad this season. The season has been a poor, we have managed to save our B division status. The lack of goals and conceding of goals has cost us this season along with some bad refereeing. But it wasn’t all gloom the boys played some good football, unfortunately good football does not always win you football matches, which just goes to show that although they moan about the training they are taking it on board and onto the pitch.

I would like to thank Kevin Barlow for his help and advice over the season, Terry, Chris P, Jon and Alan who had the unenviable task of running the line over the season and Chris Boyce for being the water boy. I would also like to thank Bill Garner for the excellent and up to date training (at very little cost) he gives to the boys and the interest he has shown by watching both the B and A sides this season.

Lastly thank you to the parents, friends and families for giving their support this season.

 Colin Norfolk
