Rayleigh Boys YFC are committed to developing children's football from the beginning of their reception year (your child needs to be 5 before they can start training). We welcome both boys and girls into the club. At this age the children do not form into teams or play any competitive matches. Rayleigh Boys YFC believe that at this age children can develop the skills and learn the rules of the game which gives them a head start when they begin to play competitively. Through structured training under the guidance of Alan Webb. Alan is an experienced coach who is a qualified referee and has also undertaken CRB clearance. The training is undertaken with an emphasis on fun and enjoyment. At the end of each session awards are given out to children based on effort, performance and fair play.

Parent/Guardian Information

We encourage parents to stay throughout the session to encourage their children. We also welcome parents who would like to get involved in management and coaching when the children are split into teams (at the end of school Year 1).
